We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated 3rd Engineer to join our LNG vessel and become an important part of a professional, safety-focused and well-organized crew.Position: 3rd EngineerVessel Type: LNG CarrierContract: Long-term / Rotation basisJoining: As soon as availableSalary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualificationsKey Responsibilities• Carry out engine-room watchkeeping duties in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations.• Assist the Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer with the safe and efficient operation of the engine department.• Monitor and operate assigned machinery and equipment during watchkeeping duties.• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and repairs in accordance with the vessel’s PMS.• Assist with troubleshooting and rectification of machinery defects and breakdowns.• Monitor machinery parameters and report any abnormalities to the responsible engineer.• Assist with the operation and maintenance of auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, purifiers, boilers and other machinery.• Assist with the safe operation and maintenance of LNG-related machinery and associated systems.• Maintain accurate engine-room logs, records and maintenance documentation.• Assist with bunkering, fuel and lube oil operations as required.• Participate in emergency drills and ensure assigned machinery and emergency equipment are ready for use.• Follow the vessel’s SMS, company procedures and applicable safety and environmental regulations.• Maintain good housekeeping and a high standard of safety and professional discipline within the engine department.Requirements• Valid STCW certification and relevant CoC.• Valid medical certificate and required STCW certificates.• Valid Advanced Gas Tanker / LNG training and certification as applicable.• Previous experience as 3rd Engineer on LNG/LPG or other gas carriers preferred.• Good technical knowledge of marine machinery and engine-room operations.• Familiarity with planned maintenance systems and technical documentation.• Good command of written and spoken English.• Good communication and teamwork skills.• Strong safety awareness and a responsible approach to shipboard operations.• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.We Offer• Competitive salary and attractive employment package• Stable employment with a reputable company• Professional and supportive working environment• Good crew and strong safety culture• Opportunities for long-term cooperation and career development• Full support from experienced shore managementIf you are an experienced 3rd Engineer looking for a stable and professional position on an LNG vessel, we would be pleased to hear from you.
