We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated 3rd Officer to join our LNG vessel and become an important part of a professional, safety-focused and well-organized crew.Position: 3rd OfficerVessel Type: LNG CarrierContract: Long-term / Rotation basisJoining: As soon as availableSalary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualificationsKey Responsibilities• Carry out navigational watchkeeping duties in accordance with company procedures and COLREGs.• Assist with safe navigation and monitoring of the vessel during bridge watches.• Assist the Master and senior deck officers with passage planning and route monitoring.• Maintain and update navigational charts, publications and bridge documentation.• Ensure proper operation and readiness of bridge navigational and communication equipment.• Maintain accurate deck and navigational logs, records and checklists.• Assist with the maintenance and inspection of lifesaving and firefighting equipment.• Participate in emergency drills and ensure safety equipment is maintained in a state of readiness.• Assist with deck operations, mooring, anchoring and cargo-related activities as required.• Support the implementation of the vessel’s SMS and company safety procedures.• Maintain a high standard of safety, environmental awareness and operational discipline.Requirements• Valid STCW certification and relevant CoC.• Valid GMDSS certification.• Valid ECDIS certification.• Valid Advanced Gas Tanker / LNG training and certification as applicable.• Previous experience as 3rd Officer on LNG/LPG or other gas carriers preferred.• Good knowledge of navigational procedures, bridge watchkeeping and COLREGs.• Familiarity with lifesaving, firefighting and other shipboard safety equipment.• Good command of written and spoken English.• Good communication and teamwork skills.• Strong safety awareness and a proactive approach to shipboard operations.• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.We Offer• Competitive salary and attractive employment package• Stable employment with a reputable company• Professional and supportive working environment• Good crew and strong safety culture• Opportunities for long-term cooperation and career development• Full support from experienced shore managementIf you are an experienced 3rd Officer looking for a stable and professional position on an LNG vessel, we would be pleased to hear from terested candidates are invited to submit their CV, certificates and relevant sea-service experience for consideration.
