We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated 4th Engineer to join our LNG vessel and become an important part of a professional, safety-focused and well-organized crew.Position: 4th EngineerVessel Type: LNG CarrierContract: Long-term / Rotation basisJoining: As soon as availableSalary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualificationsKey Responsibilities• Carry out engine-room watchkeeping duties in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations.• Assist the senior engineers with the safe and efficient operation of main engine, auxiliary engines and machinery systems.• Monitor and maintain assigned machinery and equipment.• Carry out planned maintenance and repair work in accordance with the vessel’s PMS.• Assist with troubleshooting and rectification of machinery defects and breakdowns.• Monitor engine-room parameters and report any abnormalities to the responsible engineer.• Assist with the operation and maintenance of pumps, compressors, purifiers, boilers and other auxiliary equipment.• Support safe and efficient operation of LNG-related machinery and associated systems as required.• Maintain accurate engine-room logs, records and maintenance documentation.• Participate in emergency drills and ensure readiness of assigned emergency equipment.• Follow the vessel’s SMS, company procedures and all applicable safety and environmental regulations.• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, safety and professional discipline in the engine department.Requirements• Valid STCW certification and relevant CoC.• Valid medical certificate and required STCW certificates.• Valid Advanced Gas Tanker / LNG training and certification as applicable.• Previous experience as 4th Engineer on LNG/LPG or other gas carriers preferred.• Good technical knowledge of marine machinery and engine-room operations.• Familiarity with planned maintenance systems and technical documentation.• Good command of written and spoken English.• Good communication and teamwork skills.• Strong safety awareness and a responsible approach to work.• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.We Offer• Competitive salary and attractive employment package• Stable employment with a reputable company• Professional and supportive working environment• Good crew and strong safety culture• Opportunities for long-term cooperation and career development• Full support from experienced shore managementIf you are an experienced 4th Engineer looking for a stable and professional position on an LNG vessel, we would be pleased to hear from you.
