We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated 2nd Officer to join our LNG vessel and become an important part of a professional, safety-focused and well-organized crew.Position: 2nd OfficerVessel Type: LNG CarrierContract: Long-term / Rotation basisJoining: As soon as availableSalary: Competitive, depending on experience and qualificationsKey Responsibilities• Carry out navigational watchkeeping duties in accordance with company procedures and COLREGs.• Assist with passage planning, route monitoring and safe navigation of the vessel.• Maintain and update navigational charts, publications and electronic navigation systems.• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of bridge navigational equipment.• Monitor weather, navigational warnings, notices to mariners and other relevant information.• Maintain accurate navigational records, logs and checklists.• Assist the Master and Chief Officer with safe and efficient deck operations.• Participate in emergency drills and ensure readiness of navigation and safety equipment.• Support the implementation of the vessel’s SMS and safety procedures.• Maintain a high standard of safety, environmental awareness and operational discipline.Requirements• Valid STCW certification and relevant CoC.• Valid GMDSS certification.• Valid ECDIS certification.• Valid Advanced Gas Tanker / LNG training and certification as applicable.• Previous experience as 2nd Officer on LNG/LPG or other gas carriers preferred.• Strong knowledge of navigational procedures, passage planning and bridge watchkeeping.• Good knowledge of COLREGs and maritime safety regulations.• Good command of written and spoken English.• Strong communication and teamwork skills.• High level of safety awareness and professional responsibility.• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.We Offer• Competitive salary and attractive employment package• Stable employment with a reputable company• Professional and supportive working environment• Good crew and strong safety culture• Opportunities for long-term cooperation and career development• Full support from experienced shore managementIf you are an experienced 2nd Officer looking for a stable and professional position on an LNG vessel, we would be pleased to hear from terested candidates are invited to submit their CV, certificates and relevant sea-service experience for consideration.
